Glamping near Cowes Week, Isle of Wight

Of the 9 campsites within 3.5 miles of Cowes Week, 3 have glamping.

Cowes Week has no glamping of its own, so you book one of a small number of permanent sites, all south-west of the town. None is an easy walk home from the fireworks: Tiny Homes Holidays is about 6km from the Parade on foot and Thorness Bay about 7km, so arrange a taxi or a lift for the Friday night.

Tiny Homes Holidays lets its six cabins together, which suits a crew or a few families sharing the week, and its outdoor kitchen is free when three or more cabins are booked. Each cabin has a kitchen, shower and composting loo, and a wood-fired hot tub and sauna can be booked. Its own rules ban fireworks, sky lanterns and amplified music without permission. The Hydeaway has bell tents for three or four near Gurnard, with shared composting loos and a solar shower. Pitchup showed no availability when we checked, so confirm it is open.

Thorness Bay's safari tents come with the holiday park's pool and entertainment. The Ark Park's pig arks at Northwood, with wood-fired hot tubs in the couples' arks, are a little closer to town.
