Sunnycott is a small independent caravan park on Rew Street in the countryside behind Gurnard, about two and a half miles west of Cowes. It has around twenty static caravans, each with a parking space beside it and a view over open fields, and the owners also offer bed and breakfast rooms with a continental breakfast.
There are no touring pitches and no on-site entertainment: the appeal is peace and a good base. Paths lead through woodland to the shore, Gurnard's sailing beach is a short drive or half-hour walk, and the round-the-island cycle route and coastal path pass the park. Caravans come in one, two and three-bedroom layouts sleeping four to six; linen and towels can be hired. Pets are not accepted.
