Into the Woods is a small, family-run woodland hideaway between Whippingham and Wootton Bridge, a few minutes' drive from the East Cowes and Fishbourne car ferries. The owners built every structure themselves, starting with The Roost treehouse in 2012, adding the Shepherd's Hideaway in 2013 and the couples' treehouse The Nest in 2019.

Each unit is booked exclusively, so there are no shared facilities: every stay has its own kitchen, bathroom, heating, bedding and towels, plus private outdoor space. The Shepherd's Hideaway is four oak-clad huts around one deck (two bedrooms with en-suites and a kitchen-living hut) with an optional hot tub. Guests share a paddock with a games room, BBQ area and swings, and the hosts can arrange discounted car ferry crossings.
