Woodside Coastal Retreat occupies the former Woodside Beach Holiday Park on the north coast between Wootton Creek and Ryde, inside an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The shingle and sand shore is about five minutes' walk through the park, and the Fishbourne ferry is under a mile away.
It is a lodge-only park with one- to four-bedroom self-catering lodges, many with decking and sea views; Premier lodges come with their own hot tub. There is no restaurant on site: guests check in at, and use the bar and gym of, the sister park Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat next door, and Wootton has shops, takeaways and pubs.
