The Bay Colwell is a compact holiday park on Fort Warden Road, a few minutes on foot from the sandy beach at Colwell Bay and close to Totland and Freshwater. Run by Away Resorts, it has around 50 self-catering units rather than caravans: two-bedroom cottages, many with a private hot tub on the patio, and newer beach lodges with decking and sea views.

Facilities are modest but family friendly: a heated indoor swimming pool, a soft play area, The Bayside Lounge licensed coffee house and outdoor eating space, plus pop-up activities in the school summer holidays and bike hire through a local firm. Gas, electricity and bed linen are included, and two cottages are adapted for wheelchair users.

It is open from February to December, any-day arrivals are offered, and short breaks of three or four nights run all year. Dogs are welcome in dog-friendly units for a per-stay charge, up to two per booking.
