Kingston Smallholding Goat Farm Campsite
Tiny summer tent field on a six-acre goat smallholding between Shorwell and Chale Green, with free firewood, firepits and farm-gate eggs and meat.
- No dogs
- Campfires
This is a very small, family-run pop-up on a smallholding off Kingston Road, between Shorwell and Chale Green, home to more than fifty goats plus pigs, hens and cats. It opens for around four weeks in the summer holidays, with a handful of well-spaced tent pitches surrounded by farmland and the south coast about two miles away.
It is off-grid camping: no electricity and no hot running water, but there are composting toilets, a shower in a shed, utility sinks and plenty of cold water you can heat over your own fire. Each pitch has a firepit and picnic table, firewood is free and unlimited, and the farm sells frozen local meat and eggs. Because of the goats, dogs are not allowed. School-age children stay at half price.
- Free unlimited firewood and a firepit on each pitch
- Working goat smallholding with pigs and hens
- Eggs and local meat sold on site
- Half-price stays for school-age children
