Landguard is a large Parkdean Resorts holiday park tucked into woodland on the inland side of Shanklin, a short drive or longish walk from the beaches of Sandown Bay. Most of the park is caravan holiday homes and lodges, including dog-friendly ones, with a touring and camping field of around 67 pitches.
Facilities follow the Parkdean formula: heated indoor and outdoor pools with kayaks and aqua jets, an adventure playground, arcade, the Boathouse bar and restaurant, takeaway, Costa coffee, a shop and launderette, and family entertainment every evening in season. Guests can also use the facilities at sister park Lower Hyde a few minutes away.
