Adgestone sits in the flat farmland of the Yar valley just outside Sandown, a short drive or cycle from the sandy beaches of Sandown Bay. For many years it was the Camping and Caravanning Club's Isle of Wight site; it now trades independently as Adgestone Campsite and is being relaunched with seasonal pitches, glamping and lodges.
Pitches are spread across named fields (the Paddocks, Kingfisher Meadow, Duck Pond Corner, Riverside Retreat and others), most with optional hook-up and some without. On site there is a heated outdoor pool, a catch-and-release fishing lake, a recreation field, a small shop and eatery, and Starlink Wi-Fi.
- Heated outdoor swimming pool
- Catch-and-release fishing lake
- Riverside pitches in the Yar valley
- Bell tents, safari tents and lodges as well as pitches
