Springfield Oaks
Quiet all-year field for caravans and motorhomes with serviced hook-ups, next to the Island Riding Centre just outside Newport.
- Dogs welcome
- Glamping
Springfield Oaks is a small touring field on Heath Farm off Staplers Road, on the north-eastern edge of Newport. It is laid out for caravans, campervans and motorhomes, with every pitch having electric, water and drainage hook-ups, and it borders the Island Riding Centre, whose bar, restaurant and play area are a couple of minutes' walk away.
There are no toilets or showers on site, so you need your own facilities. In return you get a peaceful spot with open views, Newport's shops five minutes away by car, and both the Fishbourne and East Cowes ferry terminals about ten minutes' drive. The owners also advertise glamping pods and a holiday cottage, and bookings come with a ferry discount.
