Bus route 24: Shanklin, Lake, Sandown and Yaverland, and the campsites on it
Route 24 is a community bus run by the Community Bus Partnership of Southern Vectis and local volunteers. It loops from Shanklin bus station through Lake, the Perowne Way estate and Sandown to Yaverland, then back the same way.
It runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only, with four trips in the late morning and around midday. It serves streets the main buses miss, which makes it handy for the parks on the Lake side of Sandown. For anything after lunch, use routes 2, 3 or 8.
