Of the 14 campsites within 3.4 miles of Ventnor Fringe, 9 are good for families.
The 2026 Fringe programme included family shows, and the free Fringe Village in Ventnor Park suits children in the daytime, with street theatre and workshops. The late venues are another matter. Club Lunar is a late-night venue with DJs and cabaret, sold in 2026 as a £50 wristband for all ten days.
Ventnor Botanic Garden makes a good half day. When we checked in October 2026 it charged £14.50 for adults and £7 for ages 6 to 16, with under-6s free, or £35 for a family of two adults and three children. A full-price ticket includes a return visit within 7 days.
For the campsite, think about bedtimes. Ninham asks for quiet from 9pm, which suits early sleepers but not late shows. Appuldurcombe Gardens has a heated outdoor pool from late May, crazy golf and a play area, and quiet hours from 11pm. Bank End Farm's two yurts at St Lawrence have a games barn and pitch and putt, and Ventnor is about a 20-minute walk along the coast. See our camping with kids guide.

The event's own camping: None. The Fringe does not run a campsite, and its accommodation page advises booking well in advance because beds in Ventnor are scarce during the festival.
