Ventnor and caravans are a poor match. The town sits on steep terraces below the downs, and the Fringe crowds Park Avenue and the Esplanade. Pitch up out of town and come in by bus or car.
Appuldurcombe Gardens at Wroxall is the most practical base. Every pitch has 10A hook-up, there are hardstandings in the streamside meadow, and route 3 buses run through the village. It has a 3-night minimum in summer and caps bookings at three pitches per party. Downsview CL above Niton has five fully serviced 8m by 8m hardstandings for adults only. Electricity is metered, with a £3 daily allowance in 2026, and CMC bookings for 2027 open on 2 November 2026.

New Bank End Farm CS at St Lawrence, about 1.7 km and 22 minutes' walk from Ventnor Park. It has hardstanding but no hook-up, toilets or showers. Appuldurcombe Gardens at Wroxall has full facilities and 10A hook-up on every pitch.
