Tent camping near the Isle of Wight Festival, Isle of Wight

Of the 15 campsites within 3.1 miles of the Isle of Wight Festival, 7 take tents.

Most tent campers stay at Seaclose Park, because camping is included with a weekend ticket and you can pitch in any of the colour-named fields. For a reserved pitch, the paid Love Your Tent field has hot showers and a café, and in 2027 asks for a £30 refundable tent deposit. The free Respect field takes up to eight people and one tent per booking, and you must take your tent home.

Off-site tent pitches suit people who want a proper shower or a quieter night. Comforts Farm at Northwood is about a mile from the West Cowes shuttle stop on Terminus Road, which ran until about 3am in 2026. Kite Hill Farm is a short walk from Wootton Bridge, where the 9F stopped in 2026, but its last bus was at 7pm. Check showers before you book: Last Post CS and Wild Oak Farm have none. Taking camping kit as a foot passenger is covered in our guide to taking a tent on the ferry.
