Cheap campsites near the Isle of Wight Festival, Isle of Wight

Of the 15 campsites within 3.1 miles of the Isle of Wight Festival, 5 are the budget choices, from about £25 a night or less for two.

The cheapest bed at the festival is the one in the ticket. In 2026 a general sale weekend ticket cost £320 with camping included, and Island residents could pay £289 on a monthly plan. Paying for an off-site pitch on top only makes sense if you want a quieter night, or you are coming without a weekend ticket.

If you do stay off-site, the saving is in getting there. Staplers Road and Fairlee Road are about 25 minutes' walk from the gates, which beats the 2026 shuttle return of £17. Festival parking was £40 for the weekend in 2026. For the crossing, Red Funnel sells a £25 foot passenger period return on the car ferry, valid 16 to 23 June 2027, and Wightlink's 34% festival discount runs on bookings made by 2 November 2026. Our cheap camping guide has more ways to cut the cost.
