Family campsites near the Isle of Wight Festival, Isle of Wight

Of the 15 campsites within 3.1 miles of the Isle of Wight Festival, 12 are good for families.

Children are welcome at the festival, but every under-16 must be with a ticket holder aged 18 or over. In 2026 a weekend ticket for ages 9 to 12 was £35, for ages 3 to 8 £25, and under-2s went free, with no more than four child tickets per booking. Parents are given plain wristbands with space to write their phone number on. Inside the festival campsite, the Family Camping field is free to reserve: every booking must include children, it takes up to eight tickets and one tent, and gazebos are not allowed.

If you would rather sleep off-site, the Staplers Road sites suit young families best. The Island Riding Centre has a café, a play area and riding lessons. Kids Love Yurts on Burnt House Lane is built around small children, but it takes no adult groups or pets. More ideas are in our camping with kids guide.
