Touring caravan sites near the Isle of Wight Festival, Isle of Wight

Of the 15 campsites within 3.1 miles of the Isle of Wight Festival, 5 take touring caravans.

Caravans are not allowed anywhere at the Isle of Wight Festival, not even in the campervan field, so a towed van means an ordinary touring pitch. The Wightlink festival discount does not help either: it is limited to vehicles up to 5.00m long and 2.24m high, and caravans are excluded by name. Red Funnel's 2027 festival page quotes fares from £42 each way on off-peak dates and £70 on the peak days of 17, 18 and 21 June, but gives no caravan price, so get a quote for your full length before you book a pitch.

Check each site's limits against your outfit. Springfield Oaks on Staplers Road does not take twin-axles and asks you to bring a 20m hook-up cable. Last Post CS on Fairlee Road warns that its entrance is tight for very long caravans. Rodgebrook Farm at Porchfield takes outfits up to 8m but is adults only. Three of the five are members-only certificated sites, so join the right club before you book. More advice is in our touring caravan guide.
