Touring caravan sites near the Royal Isle of Wight County Show, Isle of Wight

Of the 11 campsites within 2.3 miles of the Royal Isle of Wight County Show, 3 take touring caravans.

There is no caravan camping at the showground. Parking in the show field is free in the daytime, but the show says nothing about overnight stays, so plan on a touring pitch. Only three touring sites are close, so book early, especially as the Round the Island Race starts off Cowes on Saturday 10 July 2027, the opening day of the show.

Comforts Farm is the only one you can walk from, about 30 minutes to the showground gate. Last Post CS on Fairlee Road is on the east side of Newport and warns that its entrance is tight for very long caravans. Springfield Oaks on Staplers Road has serviced pitches but no toilets or showers, takes no twin-axles, and asks you to bring a 20m hook-up cable. From either Newport site, the route 1 bus from Newport bus station passes the show gate. Our touring caravan guide covers ferries.
