Wightlink classes motorhomes by size: over 5m long, low means up to 2.24m high and high up to 4.2m, measured with bikes, boxes and racks. The Motorhome Special ticket is the one to look at, but it is not valid from 07:55 to 14:59 Monday to Saturday, or 07:55 to 19:55 Friday to Sunday in high season, and the 20% midweek offer excludes motorhomes. The Caravan and Motorhome Club says members save up to 50% on Economy Motorhome fares.
There are no night sailings on this route; in autumn 2026 the last boat left Lymington at about 21:00. For a late arrival or an early boat, the sites east of the terminal are on the main road: Lucketts Farm at Bouldnor is about 3.2km away, and Camp Wight at Ningwood takes coachbuilt vans up to about 7.5m in limited numbers. Eddie's Farm CL at Shalfleet is a basic five-van field.
West over the Yar Bridge, Stoats Farm has the hardstanding and serviced pitches. See the motorhome guide.
