Cheap campsites near the Yarmouth ferry terminal, Isle of Wight

Arriving on foot is the cheapest way to camp off the Yarmouth boat. Camp Wight gave an eco-travel rate of £15 a night in 2026 for a pitch for up to two adults and two children if you come by bike, foot or bus, against £20 with a car, and route 7 stops outside. Wightlink carries bikes free if you book them, and children under 5 travel free as foot passengers.

With a car, a site that books your crossing can cut the biggest cost. Heathfield Farm's contracted Wightlink return for a car up to 5m started at £102 for stays of up to four nights in 2026. Eddie's Farm at Shalfleet charges a flat £16 a night for everyone in the van, for Caravan and Motorhome Club members, and Compton Farm lists a half pitch fee for walkers and cyclists.
