ViewOf the 10 campsites within 2.7 miles of Whitecliff Bay, 7 take dogs.
Whitecliff Bay is on the council's 2026 list of beaches where dogs are welcome all year, along with Bembridge and Priory Bay, so there is no summer ban to plan around. The catch is getting down: the only ways to the sand are two steep concrete paths of about 30 degrees from the parks above. Sandhills, the small park next door with its own path, takes no pets at all.
Above the bay, Culver Down is National Trust land and dogs are welcome, but the northern side is grazed by cattle, so keep a lead handy. The Culver Haven on the top was named by CAMRA in 2023 among its dog-friendly pubs. At Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park dogs can go into the Nab Bar, the Culver Club, the arcade and the playground, but not the pools, shop or launderette.
Most nearby sites take two dogs. Sunrise Hill at Brading included two on the pitch at no charge, and Forelands takes up to three, on a lead or tethered. See camping with dogs.
