Dog friendly campsites near Robin Hill, Isle of Wight

Of the 11 campsites within 2.2 miles of Robin Hill, 4 take dogs.

Robin Hill is one of the more dog-friendly attractions on the island. Dogs are allowed in all areas on a lead and must stay with you all day, not in the car. The one area they cannot enter is the Falconry Centre, though you can watch the displays from the side. The park warns that the cafés and playgrounds may not suit dogs.

Illuminate is different. The Christmas light trail allows only assistance dogs, because the paths are narrow, so a December trip means leaving the dog at your lodge or campsite.

Not every site near the park takes dogs. The Garlic Farm yurts, Kids Love Yurts and Four Lakes do not, though the Garlic Farm restaurant welcomes dogs on leads in its conservatory and on the terrace. Wild Oak Farm takes up to three dogs free, but keep them close: it is a working farm with cattle, pigs and sheep. See our camping with dogs guide for ferry rules.
