ViewOf the 11 campsites within 2.2 miles of Robin Hill, 5 allow campfires in some form.
Robin Hill itself is no place for a fire. It is a woodland park, and when Illuminate runs in December the only flames are the marshmallow-toasting stations along the light trail. The fires happen back at camp, and within about 2 miles there is a good spread of ways to have one.
Wild Oak Farm is the one field here where you light a campfire on your own pitch, with farm woodland and Belted Galloway cattle around you. The glamping is all fire-pit only. Each Garlic Farm yurt has its own pit, hammock and barbecue. The Island Riding Centre safari camp shares a communal pit and a wood-fired pizza oven. Four Lakes gives each lodge a pit, supplies the first logs and charcoal and sells more from an honesty shop.
In long dry spells the fire service and the council have asked people not to light fires or use disposable barbecues in the countryside, and small sites can stop fires at short notice. See our campfires and BBQs guide before you pack a bag of logs.

Yes. Wild Oak Farm at Great Briddlesford, a short drive from the park, allows campfires on the pitch. The Garlic Farm yurts, Four Lakes Retreat, Willow Shepherd's Hut and the Island Riding Centre safari camp all have fire pits.
Robin Hill lets visitors bring a picnic and soft drinks, but it does not mention barbecues, so plan to cook back at your site. Each Garlic Farm yurt and Four Lakes lodge has its own barbecue.
